Claiming your company

How claiming works, and what auto-verification checks.

Claiming links your Capvant account to your company's profile, so you can see the full score, its factors, and set up alerts.

How to claim

Search for your company from your account and submit a claim. Every claim starts under review.

Auto-verification

Where possible, we verify the claim automatically by checking your details against the company's officers on the public register, for example, matching your name (and where available, date of birth) from a prior funding request against an active director, or matching the name encoded in your email address against an officer's name. If we can verify you this way, your claim is approved right away; if not, or if the match is unclear, it goes to manual review instead. Company-acting-as-director entries and resigned officers are never counted as a match.

Claim statuses

  • Pending: we are reviewing your claim; your score and alerts become available once it is approved.
  • Verified: you have full access to the score, its factors, and alert monitoring for this company.
  • Rejected: we could not verify the claim. Contact support if the company genuinely belongs to you.

Claiming also switches on grade-change alerts for that company automatically, see Monitor alerts.
