Australia
What we ask for in Australia, and why.
Requests from this country are accepted today.
What we ask
We ask for your company name and find your business in the register. If you know your abn (for example 51 824 753 556) you can enter it instead. Requests are made in AUD. Phone numbers are taken in the international format, for example +61 412 345 678.
What the register gives us
Your company details are checked against Australian Business Register (ABN Lookup). What comes back:
| Detail | From the register |
|---|---|
| Identity | yes |
| Legal form | yes, Entity type |
| Status | yes, Status and the date it took effect |
| Incorporation date | partly, The register gives the date the identifier took effect, not the incorporation date |
| Address | partly, State and postcode only |
| Activity codes | not published by the register |
| Officers | not published by the register, Directors are not published free of charge in this market |
| Owners | not published by the register |
| Accounts | not published by the register |
| Insolvency | not published by the register |
| Filings | not published by the register |
Bank statements
Funding partners in Australia need 6 months of business bank statements to make a firm offer. Upload them from your account as soon as your request is in; the sooner they are in, the sooner the indicative offers become firm ones.
