How referrals arrive

What a deal looks like when it lands in your lane, and how matching works.

When a business's funding request matches your published lending criteria, it is referred to you as a deal: one funding request from one verified business, with a single reference (for example CV93A41205) that stays the same across every channel you use.

How you are notified

A new deal arrives as an email to your lending team with the business, contact and financial details attached, and it appears at the same time in the Lender Hub and, if you have registered a webhook, as a deal.created event to your own systems.

What is already in the deal

Business and contact details, the amount and purpose requested, and any headline financials the business gave us up front. If bank statements are already on file from an earlier stage of the request, the deal is marked so you know there is nothing to chase before you can review properly.

Matching

You only see deals that fit the criteria your team has published to us, so a deal in your lane should already be broadly in scope. Statuses you report back, see The reply-with-a-status workflow, feed the matching that decides how much flow reaches you next.

Every channel, email reply, the Lender Hub, or the API, writes to the same record. Use whichever your team already works in.
