Logging in with a magic link
How sign-in works, and why it only works for certain emails.
Capvant does not use passwords. To sign in, enter the email address on the funding request page and we send a secure, one-time link to that address.
Important: it only works with an existing request
A sign-in link is only useful if you have already started a funding request under that email address. If you have not yet submitted a request, start one instead of trying to sign in, an account is created automatically as part of submitting your first request.
Using the link
- The link is single-use: once you have signed in with it, it will not work a second time.
- It expires after a period of inactivity, so request a fresh one if it has been a while since you asked for it.
- Once you are signed in, you stay signed in on that device for up to 30 days.
If the email never arrives
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it still has not arrived after a few minutes, double-check you used exactly the email address from your original request, and try again.
