Comparing and accepting an offer

How the comparison table works, and what accepting actually does.

Every offer on your request appears in one comparison table: lender, amount, rate, term, fees, total cost, and how long the offer is valid for.

Comparing

Rates are shown in whatever form the lender quotes them, monthly rate, APR, or factor rate, so you are comparing what was actually offered rather than a converted estimate. Where we estimate a total cost from an APR and term, we say so.

Accepting an offer

When you accept an offer, we ask you to confirm the amount and lender first. Your other offers stay open, accepting one does not decline the rest, so you are never forced to commit before you are ready.

What happens next depends on the lender: some hand you a secure link to continue straight into their own request or drawdown steps; others are simply notified that you want to proceed and will be in touch directly. Either way, your account reflects it.

Declining, or adding an offer from elsewhere

You can decline any offer individually. If a lender you are speaking with outside Capvant makes you an offer directly, you can log it too, it is clearly marked as self-reported rather than lender-confirmed, but it sits in the same table for an honest side-by-side view.

Sharing a comparison

Need a second opinion? You can generate a read-only link to your comparison to share with a partner, accountant or adviser. It expires automatically after two weeks, and you can revoke it earlier at any time.
